On October 23 we took SafeCircle to SECyT in Murcia. Thanks to CEEIM, we spent the day demoing our technology and talking with students, families and teachers about keeping children safe online.
Today we proudly represented SafeCircle at SECyT (Semana de la Ciencia y la Tecnología) in Murcia, Spain. It was a great chance to show what we have been building, demonstrate the technology live and meet people who share our vision.
Our mission is simple: use AI to make the digital world safer for children and families.
We shared a stand organised by the Centro Europeo de Empresas e Innovación de Murcia (CEEIM) under the banner "Familias y Escuelas Seguras": protecting children and teenagers from cyberbullying with artificial intelligence. A big thank you to CEEIM for the invitation and their continued support.

On the laptop, visitors could see how a risky conversation turns into a single alert for the family. On the tablet, they could try the experience hands-on. Our message was the same one printed on the flyers we handed out: the chat stays on the phone, and only the alert comes out.
SafeCircle runs an AI inside the child's Android phone that detects when someone may be trying to groom or harass them, and warns the family. Conversations never leave the device.

The best part of the day was the conversations. Groups of students stopped by the stand, scanned the QR code, asked how it works and what it can and cannot see. Their questions and feedback are exactly what we need to keep improving.

Thanks to everyone who visited, to the SECyT organisers and to CEEIM. We are excited to keep building technology that makes a difference. If you want to try SafeCircle, it is free: sign up at safecircle.es.
